HTS were honored to be a major partner for the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018, supplying over 100 structures for the duration of the event. We teamed up with two local partners in Russia to deliver this high profile and challenging project. Our structures were an important aspect of the event for keeping the million strong crowd of football fans safe, happy and orderly as well as providing suitable environments for officials, organizers and media. The structures we provided included: FAN ID Centers, VIP Areas, Technical Areas, Fan Zones, Hospitality and Media Center.
HTS worked with a local partner to set up the FAN ID centers at all 12 stadiums and 11 host cities. The tents we provided consisted of a Wine Tent (varied lengths), Roma Tent (varied lengths), Nizza Pagoda (3.00m x 3.00m) and London Pagoda (3.00m x 3.00m) with high quality branding roofs. It was challenging to get the logos printed on such big roofs in a short amount of time but we got them finished to a high standard.
With the help of another local partner, we also supplied four Manhattan structures and two walk ways for the VIP area near the main host stadium, Luzhniki Stadium. Comfort was a top priority for the VIP ticket holders and our Manhattan structures were the perfect solution for this, providing spacious, comfortable and striking focal points.
Technical areas were also needed in Luzhniki so for this we made twenty-six Nizza Pagodas (3.00m x 3.00m, PVC walls with 1 door) and HTS GZ (20.00m x 25.00m x 4.00m) with a double door, opaque roof with flaps, rain gutter, 1 roller shutter and ABS panels all around.
In Saint Petersburg and Saransk we provided thirty-five Nizza Pagodas (5.00m x 5.00m PVC) and Wine Tents (10.00m x 10.00m x 3.00m) with double doors, glass and ISO panels.
For the FIFA Sponsor Pavilion main building, HTS set up a Manhattan structure (15.00m x 20.00m x 4.00m) with glass walls, 2 double doors and lining, creating an elegant and eye catching hub. Various sizes of Wine Tents and Bigtents were provided for the football fans‘ hospitality areas in Nizhny Novgorod and Ekaterinburg.
With our huge contribution of temporary structures for FAN ID Centers, VIP Lounge, Hospitality and much more, HTS helped to ensure the safety, enjoyment and control of the million strong crowds as well as organizers, officials and media over the duration of the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018. Just the hospitality structures in Nizhny Novgorod and Ekaterinburg covered a whopping 10,275 m2!
We also supplied some missing components such as doors, PVC panels and curved beams for existing structures that were already in Russia, including the Media Centre outside in Saint Petersburg, right next to the stadium.
HTS are delighted to have been part of such a high profile and exciting global event!
