Panama City Beach, November 2011, HTS tentiQ and HTS Military and Relief Shelter Systems displayed products from their Rapid Deployment Shelter Systems product line at the 7th Meeting of The DOD Joint Committee on Tactical Shelters (JOCOTAS) and the Rigid Wall and Soft Wall Shelter Industry and Exhibition.
The Bi-Annual event was well attended by United States Military and Government personnel and focused on military project and turnkey solutions with indoor and outdoor conferences and exhibits held at the Bay Point Wyndam Resort.
Two buildings were presented during the exhibition, a 6m x 9M troop shelter and an 10.65m wide x 15.00m long High Bay Large Area Maintenance Storage (LAMS) building. The LAMS had a 4.20m sidewall height with a 30 degree pitch and a 7.5m peak clearance.
The LAMS building is manufactured with an innovative frame that is 30% lighter than traditional alloy frames (main profiles only), thanks to the special carbon reinforcement. This revolutionary strong yet lightweight design allows the LAMS structure to be installed by hand – without equipment. The unit displayed at the show took a crew of eight just one day, without equipment, to install. Significant savings in time, transportation costs, storage space and work hours are all benefits of the new lightweight Carbon Tent designs available in Rapid Deployment Shelters.
The HTS tentiQ / HTS Military’s Rapid Deployment Shelters are categorized into four distinct product categories; Maintenance Shelters, Accommodation Shelters, Multi Purpose Shelters and Emergency Relief Shelters.
